Today, Chase's brother and a couple cousins came to visit. Chase is now extremely stressed. I guess in the elevator one of his cousins dropped his keys...right down the elevator shaft. They did get them back but Chase is getting billed for the effort.
I finally got a haircut yesterday. I decided to go to A Bella Salon in Butler jsut cause I saw it on the way back from school last time and they took walk-in. A nice blonde girl named Tammy was the one who cut my hair.
No more basketball is a very good thing by the way. SRU lost to IUP by 40 in the last game of the season. Double play Ray was in attendance, perhaps learning how a good team plays. Only one more week until spring break.
Oh, also there was a Sonic game made for PS2 that I just bouught called "Sonic Heroes" Basically that is every other Sonci game but now on a PS2 level so it has better graphics and a better frame rate.

Monday sleepiness
It's early in the morning and I'm tired. What's new there? Anyway, the weather yesterday was horrid with freezing rain and such. The roommate said it was the worst roads he had ever driven on. I have a cold, which really stinks. Hopefully that won't last long.
Taco Bowl is Mar.1 and I am stoked. I will also bei hosting on the radio in a live broadcast. TB is a taco-eating contest consisting of who eats the most soft tacos in 15 minutes. No I will not be participating in the eating. That will be a lot of fun.
Finally, Sharon is feeling better and that is certainly a good sign. We're all glad to hear so. So that's it for now.

Not just a typical Monday
OK, the day listed above is not exactly a lot of people's favorite of the year. The day in question which is named Valentine's day, is probably just a cheap way for candy and flower companies to gouge money out of poor young boys. Anyway, I digress. Valentine's day is often worse if you have a date that A) dumps you the on the date or the day after or B) Gets stood up. I actually thought of A when watching, get ready to laugh, The Young and the Restless. The kid that reminds me of Gordy, the web editor from last year, has a bad date and things go bad after that. It was about the only 2 minutes of the show I was watching but it was interesting.
My roommate Chase is definitely the studmuffin of the two residents living here. Chase made his own personal tape telling his gf, Hesther of the things he has learned since being on the relationship path that he has been on. He also bought roses and his making her pasta dinner from a bag that apparently made him buy a frying pan. Gotta admire the effort there.

Bragging rights are mine!
OK, this doesn't happen a lot or hardly ever, so excuse the unending happiness (at least until tomorrow) SRU beat Edinboro in basketball. Twice. Both the men's and women's team amazingly won, espeically considering that the men's team was nationally ranked entering action tonight. Of course, what does did lead to? A near fight in the stands at the end of the game because EUP peeps and SRU thugs were gettin talky with each other probably not wishing each other luck the rest of the season. Ahh, good old SRU, it wouldn't be this way without a fight in the stands, (Hockey game against YSU, 2002) and probably a couple others one (Rock Rowdies swearing at the Gannon players, 2003) Yes, we have respected fans. But, hey SRU beat Edinboro. All is right with the world and even the broadcast went without a hitch. I will enjoy. Saturday it is on to Lock Haven and I have something that I haven't had for a long time. Excitement to be going. When a team is winning the road trips and the early morning become much more bearable. Hopefully, there won't be problems and things will work out tremendously.

Not a fan of boots
OK, this is something I got to say. Today, has been certainly an interesting if not sleepy and tiring day. Now for the name of the title. Today, I decided to pull another good one on that stupid liitle monkey. I stuck him in the garbage can, feet first. Not too shabby on my account. Now remember that I did this seconds before heading to class. After I came back, I find my keyboard, coat and bookbag all scattered around the office and missing. Now so far, I have found my coat and bookbag. As for the keyboard, no such luck yet. Another funny moment of the day was when I came back from the class, my ad manager physically grabs me and takes me into the hall and tells me not to do it again. Not in a real angry or violent way. In the hall, Boots is singing is stupid little song and the other kids are looking very strangely at it. Then my E12 (Copy editing) professor goes by and she also happens to like Boots. By the way, she's the advisor for the Rocket next year. All right Reedman. Another win for the good guys.
By the way, I just thought of something. Valentine's day is Monday and the incessant questions have already begun from everybody about what I am doing. At the Rocket the ladies want to put a profile of me on the Internet for people to see. I vetoed that idea by the way. Chase wanted to know what I was doing, and his gf teased "I'll come up to see you. I promise we'll make out." Keyword there is teased. So only a few more days to go and then I can get on with other aspects of life. Like having basketball be over. SRU plays Edinboro tonight and both the women's and the men's teams will be defeated ingloriously at home.

The warmth of winter
It was an interesting weekend somewhat. I went home and my car runs now at the most optimum rate it possibly can which is about all I can ask for. The super bowl will not go down at the greatest one ever, not even close. A poorly played game with a bunch of turnovers isn't exactly what I was looking for. NE won which was also quite a bummer but oh well what are you going to do. The commericals for the game I thought were pretty lame for the most part this year. Only a couple did I find funny, namely the one with the cat knocking over the soup and then it looking like the guy was going to kill the cat. Good stuff there. Halftime was alright, most of the kids around here hated it though, if they watched it at all. I never was a huge fan of halftime, too much expectations and really it's impossible to please fans because of it.
Now, the weather is finally warm and feels like spring. Which is delightful, because I will be the first to tell you, spring is by far the best time of the year to be here because the weather is just right. Usually it is not too hot (Take that, Aug/September) or cold and impossible to drive. (Jan/Feb) It's very refreshing to go out even when it rains and whine about the rain. But it could be worse, by about 30 degrees.
I went and spent more monies today on various bills but now I am no longer offically poor, I'm in the somewhat poor, but still getting by range. A fantastic achievement indeed. And speaking of that SRU men's hoops won again, beating the dreaded black holester of CalU in a woefully long game. SRU men's hoops, with an overall record of 5-17, still has a shot to go to the PSAC playoffs. I like to write that so I have something to look forward to.

That bed looks pretty nice
I got a tremndous amount of six hours of sleep last night. Not too cool. In other news, I actually went home today and made it despite the car being somewhat not functioning. (AKA: driving with the battery light on. The whole way home.)
English 12 (copy-editing) was bearable today. Because Dr. P had to leave early and be in Grove City at 12. Not too bad there. The less talk about gerends, the better.
Yellow-ribbon boy (Colin) co-hosted my radio show today with myself. Good times. We complained about the Superbowl and I gave a 41-10 Patriot win in the game.

English is fun, well not really.
When I went to high school, I thought I would never have to go through learning about grammar ever again. This blog is now dedicated to the people that survived a certain class named English 12.
Now the thing about E12 is that everybody hated it. Learning about grammar and literature and of course that lovable teacher that we all so enjoyed throughout the 180 days of school makes for a good old time. Well, now I take a class called copy editing. And I'm reliving most of it all over again. We're learning about grammar and the correct way to use it. We've learned about transitive verbs, gerunds, interjections, conjunctions and all that other pointless grammatical crap that is associtated with the fine English language. Now I do know that some of this stuff is important, and since copy editors are the last line of defense to prevent the section editors from looking like they were on crack when they put the pages together. (Much gratitude to copy editor people) it's important to give the copy editors their due. Now anyway, back to the actual class. I believe the walls are blue in that class and sometimes class gets to be a little dry. (OK, every day class is a chore.) Not to mention having to do grammar exercises in a workbook. Now I'm not one to like any kind of exercise, whether it be grammatical or otherwise, so extra work put on my part isn't exactly welcomed with open arms. But I digress and move on to other aspects of life.
